- Third generation antihistaminic drugs - These are drugs belongs to newer H1-antihistamines with combination of both the properties of first generation and second generation antihistaminic drugs. They have less side effects as compare to second generation antihistaminic drugs.
- Fourth generation antihistaminic drugs - They are the newer drugs of antihistaminic groups with very less side effects and more efficient as compare to other generations drugs like first generation, second generation and third generation antihistaminic drugs. Examples - Levocetirizine.
